For Sale! $600 "Big W Twila" 
Twila represents all of the hard work that I have put into breeding my goats to find "that perfect one". She is an absolutely gorgeous doe with big bright blue eyes. She is definitely very flashy, and is the first goat that everyone notices when they come to visit the goats. I have decided to stop breeding, so I won't get to see her offspring like I had hoped. I have bred her to "Old Castle The Stars go Blue" on 8-22-10. Anyone who gets this doe is very lucky!! She has some of the best milking lines here on the farm, and has really great conformation. Katie is for sale for $175 as a pet, or $250 with papers. She has no problem kidding, although has been having difficulty getting pregnant recently. So if you would like to try breeding her, she is a great mom and delivers easily, but I can't guarantee her fertility. Katie is a very attractive doe. I need to take new photos of her, these just don't do her justice at all! She has nice conformation, and is a very stylish dairy doe, with a nice long dairy neck and legs. She has thrown some of the most beautiful kids that we have ever had born on the farm! Her unique light fawn coloring makes her look like a deer. She has very vibrant blue eyes, that are accented by beautiful facial stripes. Katie appreciates an ear scratching from her owners. She can actually be very friendly to the people she knows, even though I do not believe she was bottle feed. She is really curious, and always has to know what is going on around "her barn". She absolutely loves anyone who will feed her treats of carrots, apples and bananas! Candy Corn is her best friend around her, and is her half sister. They sleep next to each other at night, and I often see them scratching each other's backs. Katie has very impressive bloodlines and got her blue eyes from her sire, Long Acres Zeus. Katie's dam has the coloring and pattern of Candy Corn, patches of bright red and white. Katie throws a lot of color in her kids, and usually has blue eyed kids too, that have her beautiful conformation, with short stature. She has a little scur (horn growth) although it hasn't caused a problem so far. Katie would also make a great pet, or companion for another goat. Very muscular, and nice conformation. He has good bloodlines too. Even though he is black and white, he has thrown a wide variety of colors in his kids, and a high percentage of blue eyes, even when bred to brown eyed does. He was a bottle baby, and enjoys a good scratch on the neck, if you don't mind the smell! He does have two small scurs. They are very loose, and so far I haven't needed to trim them, as he usually knocks them off on the fence first. Blue Star has always had a fun personality, and has been a joy to have around the farm. He was my very first registered Nigerian buck, it will be sad to see him go! PICTURE TAKEN ON: 4-14-08 Asscher is a wonderful buck, a great color, many people seem to like this cream color with blue eyes. It is very beautiful! Blue Asscher has really nice conformation, he is nice and short for a Nigerian buck, at just under 21" tall, and weighing in at 65 pounds. He has great dairy style, with a thin long neck and legs. He is finely boned, and is perfect if you have larger boned does, or coby does, are looking to correct short necks, or just want that "perfect" buck, for your "perfect" does. I have been very excited and happy with the kids I have seen from Blue Asscher. One of his bucklings was sold as a future herd sire in 2009. All of the kids had very nice conformation, and great long necks and legs, everything I could have hoped for! He threw a very high percentage of blue eyes, even with does that had brown eyes. You can mix his name up in many ways, calling him Blue, Diamond, Asscher, Blue Diamond, Blue Asscher, Asscher Diamond. I tried to give him as long of a name as possible so the next owner could change it up to their liking. Asscher is my favorite cut of diamond, so that is how he got his name. Blue Asscher was a bottle baby, and is our friendliest buck, he is extremely easy to catch, you can walk right up to him and put the leash around his neck. He has never been skittish, and is easy to handle. He does have small thin scurs, they don't curl, and they are very loose, so I have never needed to trim them as they break off when they get too long. He has been a very low maintenance buck. AVERAGE PRICES FOR MY GOATSGoat prices have had to increase in 2009 because of the higher price of animal feed and supplies. Sorry! 4-H and show Wethers: For 2010 my 4-H and show quality wether kids will be priced at $175. Pet Wethers: Pet quality wethers are kids that have been born with something that would disqualify them from participating in 4-H, and will be priced lower than $175, depending on the severity of the issue.
Bucklings: For 2010 my buck kids will be priced at $350.
Doelings: My doe kids for 2010 start at $450 and go up from there.Adults: Adult does and bucks are all priced differently.
All of these prices are an estimate, I take a lot of things into consideration when pricing a goat, and each goat is priced individually. They could be higher or lower than these averages, depending on the quality of the parents, the quality of the kid its self, and the potential I believe the goat kid may have in the future. If I ever have a doeling born that does not qualify to be of breeding quality, it will be sold strictly for a pet, at the price I sell my wethers for, without papers. Prices are subject to change at anytime without notice.
If you want a pet, than get a doe or Wether!! (castrated male) Wethers and does make great pets. They are friendly, good with children, and do not smell bad. Wethers do not smell like bucks. Many cities are now allowing goats to live in town as pets (restrictions may apply). You will enjoy spending time with them, some people say they are similar to dogs! They can easily be trained to walk on leashes. Their funny goat antics will entertain you, and each one will have a different personality. They are herd animals and would be extremely lonely and LOUD! by themselves. You will need to get at least two goats (or more if you want), but the good thing is that two goats are pretty much just as easy to care for as one. My goats are raised in a caring environment with daily attention given to each of them. Bucks do not make good pets, and should only be kept for breeding!
